We are looking for a Senior Automation Developer and Data Specialist with a unique blend of security automation and graph data engineering expertise. In this role, you will spend roughly half your time building and maintaining python automations in a SOAR, and the other half designing and managing graph data models and relationships in Neo4j to enrich threat analysis and security context. You'll work at the intersection of automation, analytics, and data architecture, driving smarter, faster, and more connected security operations.

Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:

  • Design and manage graph data models to represent entities such as users, assets, alerts, and threat relationships
  • Develop and optimize Cypher queries and APIs for querying and enriching incident data.
  • Integrate Neo4j with SOAR and other platforms to enable advanced contextual analysis, correlation, and visualization.
  • Work with data scientists and analysts to extract actionable insights from graph relationships.
  • Maintain and optimize Neo4j performance, indexing, and security configurations.
  • Design, develop, and maintain SOAR playbooks, integrations, and automations to improve incident response workflows.
  • Connect SOAR with internal and external systems (e.g., SIEM, EDR, ticketing, and threat intel platforms).
  • Develop custom integrations using Python and REST APIs.
  • Collaborate with SOC and Incident Response teams to identify automation opportunities and deliver measurable efficiency gains.

Skills
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in Security Automation, Data Engineering, or related cybersecurity fields.
  • Hands-on experience (3+ years) with a SOAR and custom playbook/integration development.
  • Proficiency in Neo4j (or similar graph databases) including data modeling, Cypher queries, and integrations.
  • Strong Python programming skills and experience with RESTful APIs.
  • Understanding of incident response processes, SOC operations, and threat intelligence workflows.
  • Experience working with JSON, YAML, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
  • Preferred Certifications: Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR Certified Engineer (PCSAE)
  • Neo4j Certified Professional
