Senior Automation Developer

Responsibilities:

• Identifies opportunities for automation within software processes
• Designs and executes QA tests using scripts that automatically test functionality.
• Designs and writes test automation scripts
• Utilizes test automation frameworks
• Investigates problems in software as a result of testing
• Works with QA analysts and software developers to find solutions

Mandatory Skills:

• Solid experience with

• Hands on experience with various defect tracking tools such as HP ALM, DevOps
• Experience creating test cases and test scenarios in HP ALM or DevOps
• 1+ years developing test cases
• 1+ years developing automation test scripts with multiple Tools
• Experience performing regression testing manually and with automation scripts
• Extensive experience performing functional and regression testing through manual testing and automation.
• 1+ years of hands-on experience Performing automation testing and developing test scripts
• Experience with Screen Readers, Syntax Checking tools, Colour-Contract tools, browser tools/toolbars.
• Extensive experience performing functional and regression testing through manual testing and automation.
• Experience testing solution developed with HTML 5, WAI-ARIA tags, UX and front-end development

Knowledge of Ontario Design Standards, and AODA Testing (15%)

Experience with User Experience Interface design and architecture.

QA experience: 45%

1+ years of experience with DevOps/Agile/Scrum Methodology working with Web and Mobile technologies, as well as different OS/Platforms

1+ years of experience with different automation and manual testing types: black box testing, AODA and UAT testing

Experience drafting/following Test Strategy/Test Plan document

1+ years of hands-on experience with BRD: analyzing business requirements and creating test data requirements

Extensive experience with preparing detailed test cases to test functionality

Proven experience with identifying bugs in software; excellent ability to document and explain bugs/issues to Dev and business teams

Solid experience with triaging defects, participating and leading triage meetings, and producing defect summary reports

Hands on experience with various defect tracking tools such as HP ALM, DevOps

Experience creating test cases and test scenarios in HP ALM, DevOps

Experienced in Test Automation, preparing scripts/updating existing scripts, run the scrips and capture results

1+ years of hands-on experience with system testing, system integration testing

Extensive experience in Quality Assurance preparing Test Plans, Test Cases and executing and monitoring unit, integration and UAT testing while working directly with clients

Manual system testing and integration testing experience including creating test cases and test plans

Automation Testing/Technical experience: 35%

Experience developing automation testing scripts

Performing functional and regression testing with multiple automation tools

Public sector Experience- 5%
