About Remarcable, Inc.

Remarcable helps contractor businesses thrive through modern workflow, communication, and procurement systems. As we scale across North America, we're building a people-first organization rooted in transparency, accountability, and innovation.

The Opportunity

We're seeking a Human Resources Business Partner to support our growing Vancouver team. This role is ideal for a hands-on HR professional who enjoys owning the full employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance, and shaping culture — while providing occasional support for talent acquisition as we grow.

You'll partner with leadership to execute people programs that drive engagement, performance, and development, while also assisting with the recruitment of key roles when needed.

Your Impact

HR Business Partner Responsibilities (≈ 80%)

  • Serve as the primary HR contact for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, processes, and employee relations.

  • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, leaves of absence, and HRIS administration.

  • Ensure compliance with BC and Canadian employment legislation, maintaining accurate and confidential records.

  • Partner with leadership on performance management, engagement, and organizational development initiatives.

  • Support and execute HR programs such as performance reviews, engagement surveys, and total rewards updates.

  • Assist in the creation and rollout of HR policies, handbooks, and internal communications that align with our company values.

  • Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.

  • Coordinate culture and recognition programs that support employee connection and belonging.

  • Partner cross-functionally with Finance, IT, and Operations to ensure smooth employee experiences and processes.

Talent Acquisition Support (≈ 20%)

  • Partner with hiring managers and the Talent team to help define job requirements and participate in interview processes for key roles.

  • Support the full-cycle recruiting process as needed, including interview coordination and candidate experience management.

  • Help maintain a pool of potential talent through proactive networking and relationship management.

  • Assist in onboarding new hires and ensuring a seamless transition into the organization.

What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years of progressive experience as an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner in Canada.

  • Solid understanding of BC employment standards and HR compliance practices.

  • Experience with HR systems (e.g., BambooHR, ADP) and comfort managing data and reporting.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to coach managers and build trust across teams.

  • Experience supporting or collaborating with recruiting teams; comfortable interviewing or sourcing when needed.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field; CPHR designation preferred.

  • Be part of a collaborative, transparent, and innovative team.
