Job Description: Long Haul Delivery Driver

Position: Long Haul Sprinter Van Delivery Driver

Location: Based in Mississauga, ON, Canada (Start location flexible)

Job Type: Full-time

Overview: We seek a dedicated Long Haul Delivery Driver to join our team. This role primarily involves driving long distances across Canada and the USA in a Sprinter Van equipped with heating and a foldable bed. As a Long Haul Delivery Driver, you will be away from home for extended periods.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a Sprinter Van for long-distance deliveries.
  • Ensure timely and efficient transport of goods between locations.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, both in Canada and the USA.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the company vehicle.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics teams.
  • Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of commercial driving experience with border crossing capabilities.
  • Minimum 1 year of verifiable commercial insurance driving experience.
  • G Driver.
  • Valid Canadian driver's license or PR status, with eligibility to work in Canada.
  • Ability to cross the border into the USA.
  • Comfortable with long-distance driving, including night shifts.
  • Previous experience in delivery driving is essential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and stay away from home as required.
