Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Manage loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklift equipment when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability during long hauls.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when required during loading or unloading processes.

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an AZ driver.
  • Must have a valid U.S. visa.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation logistics.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Experience in automotive repair is a plus for quick roadside fixes.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts is beneficial for efficient loading and unloading.
