Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Long Haul Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight over long distances while ensuring the safety and timely delivery of goods. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of equipment.

Duties

  • Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight across long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Manage loading and unloading of freight, utilizing forklift equipment when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any incidents during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
  • Perform basic automotive repairs as needed to ensure vehicle reliability during long hauls.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when required during loading or unloading processes.

Experience & Requirements

  • Minimum age: 25 years.
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • At least 1 year of experience as an AZ driver.
  • Must have a valid U.S. visa.
  • Proven experience in commercial driving with a strong understanding of freight transportation logistics.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Experience in automotive repair is a plus for quick roadside fixes.
  • Previous experience operating forklifts is beneficial for efficient loading and unloading.
