About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced National Manager to help us build and grow our business at Costco and our current distributors who serve other major retailers. In this high-impact role, you will lead a team with two direct reports and be responsible for driving growth, profitability, and strategic partnerships. You will develop and execute customer-specific business plans, build strong relationships, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver outstanding results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two direct reports, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales, revenue, and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key customers, buyers, and distributor partners.
  • Lead joint business planning, promotional strategies, and trade spend management to maximize ROI.
  • Analyze sales data, market trends, and performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Finance, Logistics) to ensure seamless execution of customer strategies.
  • Deliver compelling business reviews and presentations using data-driven insights.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and promotional opportunities with key accounts.
  • Oversee forecasting, demand planning, and inventory management to ensure supply chain efficiency.
  • Manage budgets, trade funds, and promotional spending for profitability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of sales/account management experience in CPG, retail, or related industries.
  • Proven track record of managing national or key accounts with measurable sales growth.
  • Experience managing and developing direct reports.
  • Strong analytical skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and sales analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Nielsen, IRI).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience with trade marketing, category management, and omni-channel retail (ecommerce and brick & mortar).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
