Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment, ensuring consistency and adherence to food safety standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in food preparation and culinary arts to develop their skills further while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to restaurant recipes and standards
  • Assist in the mise en place, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area at all times
  • Ensure food safety and hygiene regulations are strictly followed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods
  • Monitor food quality and presentation before serving
  • Restock ingredients and supplies as needed to ensure smooth kitchen operations

Requirements

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation processes
  • Familiarity with food safety standards and hygiene practices
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Previous experience serving or working directly with customers is advantageous but not essential
  • A genuine passion for food and hospitality, with a positive attitude towards teamwork

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.50 per hour
