Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Line Cook to join our vibrant culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to showcase your culinary skills, contribute to a positive dining experience, and grow within the food industry. Prior restaurant experience and a strong understanding of food safety are highly valued.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare ingredients and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service expectations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage
  • Assist with food presentation and plating to ensure visual appeal
  • Follow all food safety regulations and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations
  • Restock supplies and assist with inventory management as needed
  • Serve dishes promptly and courteously to guests

Skills

  • Experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety standards, and sanitation practices
  • Ability to work efficiently in a high-pressure environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment usage
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
  • Prior restaurant or kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory for motivated candidates willing to learn
  • Passion for delivering quality food and exceptional customer service

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.50-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
