The OpportunityWe're looking for a detail-oriented and reliable Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Finance team at our Etobicoke Head Office. If you're someone who enjoys keeping things organized, loves working with numbers, and takes pride in doing things right the first time, this could be the perfect fit. You'll be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling statements, and helping keep our financial records in top shape. It's a great opportunity to gain hands-on accounting experience in a supportive, fast-paced environment where teamwork matters.
Key ResponsibilitiesProcess vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper approvals, and timely payments.
Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
Enter and maintain accurate accounting data in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Prepare and maintain accounting records, including journal entries and payment runs.
Support month-end closing activities related to accounts payable.
Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive working relationships.
Provide general bookkeeping and administrative support to the Finance team as needed.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or accounts payable, or completion of post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or similar accounting software (strong asset).
Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
