Wilco Contractors Southwest Inc. is hiring an experienced STREET SWEEPER OPERATOR, for our 2026 Landscape Construction season.

Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Drive and operate a sweeper/truck or equipment equipped with hoses, brooms, and other equipment.
  • Clean streets, driveways, alleys, parking facilities, sidewalks, and landscaping areas.
  • Ensure that all aspects of work are properly completed to specifications and in compliance with all health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean work area and vehicles.
  • Clean streets, sidewalks, and alleys using a self-contained diesel-powered street sweeper with onboard controls; use hand brooms and shovels as needed.
  • Keep vehicle and equipment in safe, clean, and serviceable condition.
  • Maintain vehicle records for vehicle and equipment inspections and repairs.
  • Report all equipment, vehicle, and safety incidents to supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Requirements;

  • 2 years experience operating a Sweeper.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to, ground disturbance standards and regulations.
  • Experience in performing daily maintenance and checks on heavy machines.
  • Valid driver's license as well as a clean driver abstract
  • Possess a strong work ethic, positive attitude, and proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Pay: $28.00-$32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 44 – 70 per week

  • Heavy equipment operation: 2 years (preferred)
  • Construction: 2 years (preferred)
