Are you passionate about making an impact in your community? Do you have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills? We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Director of Programs and Clinical Services to support our team.

Key Responsibilities ·

  • Provide strong, visible clinical leadership to the multidisciplinary team (e.g. clinical managers, resource nurses, nurses, physicians, personal support workers)·
  • Oversee and ensure the delivery of integrated, patient-centred care that meets the evolving needs of the community and adheres to best practices in palliative care.·
  • Lead the development, implementation, and review of hospice clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care.·
  • Drive quality improvement initiatives, including monitoring clinical key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing clinical data, and reporting on outcomes to the executive director·
  • Aligns programs and activities to the Strategic Plan·
  • Manage and investigate patient complaints and clinical incidents, ensuring appropriate corrective action and a culture of learning.·
  • Oversees all programs and services delivered by the clinical and psychosocial team

Role Requirements

  • Registered Nurse in good standing with the College of Nurses
  • Canadian National Certification in hospice palliative care (CHPCN) is an asset
  • Minimum of 3 years of management or leadership experience in a health care setting preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of hospice/palliative care principles, practices, and regulatory standards
  • Proven experience in leading and managing diverse teams through change and fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
