Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Control Chemist, based in Lake Country, BC. The responsibilities include conducting quality control tests, maintaining laboratory equipment, performing calibrations, and analyzing raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products. You will ensure compliance with quality standards and assist in the development and documentation of quality assurance procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Quality Control procedures and principles, ensuring adherence to industry standards
  • Hands-on Laboratory Skills, including sample preparation and handling
  • Strong Analytical Skills for evaluating test results and ensuring accuracy
  • Knowledge of Laboratory Equipment operation and maintenance, as well as Calibration processes
  • Ability to work in a team environment with excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field
  • Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment is considered an asset
