We're hiring an
Operations & Data Coordinator

to support the accuracy, reliability, and effective use of member data across The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce.

This role is ideal for someone who is highly detail-oriented, proactive, and genuinely enjoys taking the extra steps needed to ensure information is complete, well-documented, and dependable. A strong customer service mindset is essential, as this position supports members directly and internal teams specifically in relation to CRM data, engagement tracking, and operational processes through responsive, thoughtful, and professional interactions.

The Operations & Data Coordinator helps maintain CRM records, produces reports, and supports operational initiatives that improve how members interact with The Chamber's digital tools. This role combines operational execution, analytical thinking, and strong service orientation.

The Operations & Data Coordinator will:

·      Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date member records and engagement notes in the CRM

·      Track engagement and renewal activity and identify trends that support member retention

·      Support renewal processes by ensuring accurate data, timelines, and CRM task tracking

·      Create CRM reports to support internal understanding of member engagement and risk indicators

·      Encourage and support member use of digital tools, providing assistance as needed

·      Maintain and update process documentation and CRM-related materials

·      Provide occasional back-up coverage for front desk and operational services when required

MORE DETAILS

·      Full-time, permanent position

·      Minimum 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

·      Hybrid work arrangement (details to be confirmed)

·      Flex hours encouraged to support work–life balance

·      Occasional early mornings or extended hours may be required based on operational needs

·      Three weeks of vacation per year

·      Paid sick days available

·      Group health and dental benefits available after three months of full-time permanent employment

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Required Qualifications:

·      Post-secondary education in Business, Data, or Information Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

·      Minimum one year of experience in customer engagement, membership services, CRM/data entry, or a similar role

·      Experience working with CRM systems and maintaining accurate records

·      Comfortable working with data, tracking timelines, and producing reports

·      Strong customer service skills, with the ability to support members and internal teams in relation to CRM use, data accuracy, and digital tools

·      Can communicate clearly and professionally in English, both written and verbal

·      Proficient using Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and accustomed to shared digital tools

·      Demonstrates ethical and responsible AI use and can apply AI-assisted tools appropriately to support workflow efficiency

·      Legally entitled to work in Canada

Skills and Competencies:

·      Takes ownership of data accuracy and completeness, recognizing that even small details matter for smooth operations and a consistent member experience

·      Is proactive and comfortable taking additional steps to ensure systems and records are fully and correctly maintained

·      Plans, organizes, and tracks work to meet timelines and maintain consistency

·      Manages multiple priorities and adapts as operational needs or timelines change

·      Communicates information in a clear, structured, and professional manner

·      Collaborates effectively with colleagues

·      Provides responsive, member-focused service related to data, CRM processes, and digital tools

·      Identifies gaps or inconsistencies in data or processes and proposes practical improvements

·      Adapts to new systems, tools, and processes as they are introduced

Preferred Qualifications:

·      Experience working in a membership-based, nonprofit, or community-focused organization

·      Familiarity with engagement reporting, renewal tracking, or CRM task workflows

·      Experience supporting member-facing digital tools such as portals or online directories
