Toronto, Ontario, Canada Gravity Full time $60,000 - $90,000 per year

About Gravity
Gravity is the platform public agencies use to manage budgeting, automate financial reporting, and meet compliance with confidence. From Annual Comprehensive Financial Reports (ACFR) to Budget Books to GASB disclosures, we give teams the tools to move faster, work smarter, and build public trust.

About The Role
We're looking for an organized, detail-oriented AP/AR Specialist to join our Finance team. You'll own the full cycle of accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across multiple entities and currencies. What You'll Do

  • Accounts Payable (AP): Manage the full AP cycle, including invoice receipt, coding, approval, and payment. Maintain vendor records, support onboarding, review contracts and POs, and assist with month-end accruals and reconciliations.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Prepare and issue invoices, monitor receivables aging, follow up on outstanding payments, apply payments accurately, and partner with Sales and Customer Success to resolve billing discrepancies.
  • General Accounting Support: Assist with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, intercompany billing, multi-currency transactions, and audit or tax support. Continuously identify process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.

What You'll Bring

  • 3–5 years of AP/AR or full-cycle accounting experience, ideally in SaaS or multi-entity environments
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial controls, and modern finance tools (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Xero, Ramp, , Airbase, etc.)
  • Exceptional attention to detail, analytical skills, and time management
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across Finance, Operations, and GTM teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-growth, fast-changing environment
  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or in-progress is a plus)

About You

  • You're someone who loves numbers but also understands they tell a bigger story.
  • You take pride in accuracy, are naturally curious about processes, and find satisfaction in solving problems before they become issues.
  • You thrive in fast-paced environments, collaborate effortlessly with different teams, and know how to balance multiple priorities without missing a beat.
