Overview
The Siebel Integration Specialist is responsible for translating technical specifications into fully functional, tested applications. The role involves programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and supporting software packages through their full lifecycle, including implementation and migrations.

This position requires strong experience in
Siebel development
,
reporting tools (OBIEE/PowerBI)
, and enterprise-level application design. The role is onsite, with increasing frequency of onsite presence as per schedule.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate technical system specifications into working applications.
  • Develop detailed programming specifications and write/generate code.
  • Compile data-driven programs; maintain and conduct unit testing.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during software operation and implementation.
  • Provide technical assistance in software deployment, conversions, and migrations.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document applications.
  • Collaborate with IT teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Use structured methodologies for application design, development, and maintenance.
  • Work with relational/hierarchical databases and query languages.
  • Support application deployment, upgrades, and troubleshooting activities.
  • Elicit and document requirements from business stakeholders.
  • Provide user/system documentation and post-implementation support.

Must-Haves

  • 10+ years experience with Siebel technical configuration, design, development, and integration.
  • 5+ years experience with Siebel integration (Adobe AEM, J2EE, etc.).
  • 5+ years experience with Siebel EIM/EAI.
  • 3+ years hands-on experience with Siebel IP18 configuration and development.
  • Experience with Assignment Manager, Business Rules, Workflow, Applets, Views, Screens, Siebel Business Layer objects, Siebel Tools & Siebel Web Templates, Siebel Open UI classes, Siebel Approval Manager.
  • Strong experience in OBIEE and PowerBI report development.
  • Experience with HTML5, CSS, JQuery, JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Open UI concepts (PM, PR, Manifest, Mapping files).

Nice-to-Haves

  • Experience with Grants Management modules.
  • Experience with Public Sector CRM and related Siebel modules (Contracts, Leads, Partner Portal, Campaigns, Marketing, etc.).
  • Experience with middleware, gateways, installation scripts, RAD methodologies, and AODA standards.
  • Knowledge of Information Management principles.
  • Experience conducting design walkthroughs and providing QA oversight.

  • Experience with:

  • Oracle E-Business Suite (GL, AR, AP, INV, Collections)

  • Oracle PL/SQL, SQL, XML, Unix shell scripting
