Technical Service Representative (TSR) – Brampton Branch

We're looking for a Technical Service Representative (TSR) to join our Brampton branch.

This role is a mix of servicing existing clients and supporting new business, with a strong focus on home and auto insurance quoting.

You'll work Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, in a fast-paced, self-motivated environment. Strong communication skills and professional phone manner are essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle policy renewals, endorsements, cancellations, and basic claims transactions
  • Prepare home and auto insurance quotes for new and existing clients
  • Support producers by gathering underwriting information and processing new business
  • Educate and advise clients on insurance products and coverages to ensure satisfaction and retention
  • Learn and follow underwriting guidelines of multiple insurance carriers and brokerage standards
  • Review and audit applications submitted by producers for accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare pink slips, binders, certificates of insurance, and processing memos
  • Maintain accurate client files and documentation in TAM (Agency Manager)
  • Coordinate follow-ups and manage outstanding tasks in a timely manner
  • Perform general administrative and service duties as assigned by principals

Qualifications

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in an insurance brokerage (personal lines)
  • RIBO License required or must have passed the RIBO exam
  • Proven experience or strong ability to quote home and auto insurance
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Fast and accurate typing skills
  • Experience with TAM – Agency Manager and Compu-Quote is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Word and Outlook

Job Details

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience: Minimum 2 year customer service / insurance brokerage experience
  • License: RIBO Licensed (Required)
  • Salary: $45,000 – $55,000 (based on experience)
  • Compensation to be discussed during the interview process

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
