Home Warranty Service Technician
to join our client's team in Calgary, AB. This full-time position offers a competitive salary of $85,000 - $95,000 per year. The successful candidate will respond to homeowner warranty requests, perform repairs on common residential issues, coordinate with trades when needed, and ensure homeowners receive professional, high-quality service.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to homeowner warranty service requests.
  • Diagnose and repair common residential issues, including:
  • Drywall, paint, trim, doors, and flooring
  • Plumbing and minor electrical problems
  • Coordinate with tradespeople and suppliers for specialized repairs.
  • Conduct post-possession and warranty walkthroughs with homeowners, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service work, materials used, and completion timelines.
  • Ensure all work meets company standards, Alberta Building Codes, and warranty policies (e.g., Alberta New Home Warranty Program).
  • Represent the company professionally when interacting with homeowners, property managers, and trades.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize homeowner inconvenience.

Requirements:

  • Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential construction, warranty, or service work
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and building systems
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Professional communication and customer service abilities
  • High attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Own tools and reliable vehicle preferred
