Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Chocolate Maker/Packager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of food safety practices and experience working in a commercial kitchen environment.

This role involves making and packaging high-quality chocolate products under the supervision of our chef, while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Dishwashing and cleaning is also part of the position.

Duties

  • Operate machinery and equipment used in the chocolate-making process, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
  • Package finished chocolates efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
  • Sanitate work areas and equipment regularly to comply with food safety regulations.
  • Dishwashing and cleaning are required to clean the space during and after production.

Experience

  • Previous experience in the food industry is required.
  • Familiarity with food safety protocols and basic math/logic skills are required.
  • Demonstrating strong attention to detail.
  • A willingness to learn new techniques and adapt to changing production needs is important.

This position pays base plus commission (employees earn an average of $23 per hour when they work hard).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour
