Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Helper to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by assisting with various tasks related to food preparation and service. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the food industry and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and measuring ingredients
  • Support cooking staff by preparing meals according to established recipes and standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Help with serving food to customers or guests as needed
  • Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe dining experience
  • Assist in inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels
  • Participate in meal preparation for special events or catering services

Skills

  • Experience in serving, food preparation, or cooking is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling techniques
  • Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards collaboration
