Project Manager/Cost Estimator

Mississauga ON LA R, Canada Lakeview Millwork Ltd. Full time $42,000 - $50,000 per year

· Set project timeline & ensure projects are completed within specified time.

· Monitor and execute project deliverables (shop drawing, material take off, production and installation).

· Update relevant stakeholders or team members on the project progress.

· Coach and support project team members with tasks you assign them.

· Provide cost estimate for all received bids in timely manner, maintain and update sales sheet.

· Co-ordinate with Estimator, Clients, & Vendors (Material procurement – Job related) to run the projects.

· Follow up with Production Supervisor & Installers on project schedule and track the project to meet due date.

· Maintain weekly jobwise hours monitoring to calculate the labor cost and profit/loss summary.

· Attend daily production meeting with Production Supervisor for job status, priority, and any issues.

· Maintain and update job schedule and prioritize the job as per updated schedule.

· Maintain the enough stock of the Kanban items i.e. blades, CNC tools, router bits, drills, wood screws, thinner, paint, masks, gloves, nails, glue, contact cements, thinners, packing and wrapping materials.

· Verify in measurements and markings for efficient use of materials and the projects will meet budgetary restrictions.

· Maintain a safe working environment on floor.

· Sets up and assign for operation & perform basic maintenance of the variety of woodworking machines (i.e. CNC Router, Edgebander, Panel saw etc.).

· Shop improvements and job process improvements.

· Maintain and update job quote estimation data sheet.

· Prepare daily job quote, follow up with architect for all bidder's GC list and send to all relevant GC.

· Follow up with GC for submitted quotes.

· Other duties required by owner.
