Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently. This role requires hands-on experience with various automotive systems, excellent customer service skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
  • Execute repairs and maintenance on various automotive systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and assembly tasks.
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance to ensure vehicle safety and performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex problems using schematics and technical manuals.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients about repairs needed and services performed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist in heavy lifting tasks as required during the repair process.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanic experience in an automotive repair setting; dealership experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems and components.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs.
  • Familiarity with welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to explain technical information clearly to clients.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read and interpret schematics.
