Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
  • Utilize schematics to troubleshoot vehicle issues accurately.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as necessary for repairs.
  • Operate various power tools and hand tools safely and effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Communicate with customers regarding their vehicle's needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts or equipment as required.

Experience

  • Proven experience as an Automotive Technician or similar role is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of automotive repair techniques and practices.
  • Familiarity with using schematics for troubleshooting is essential.
  • Experience with welding is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physical tasks associated with automotive repair.
  • Proficiency in the use of both hand tools and power tools is required.
