Job Summary:

Oversee accounts payable (and receivable), data entry, ensuring timely payments and accurate records. Manage cashflow and report to General Manager.

Handle all CRA-related tasks, including payroll remittances, GST remittances, EFT remittances, Worksafe remittances and other tax-related matters.

Perform bookkeeping duties using accounting software (Sage50), including bank reconciliations, credit card reconciliations, and financial reporting.

Maintain organized records of all financial transactions and company documents.

Support the management team with administrative tasks as needed, including preparing reports and managing office supplies.

Ensure compliance with company policies and assist in improving office processes for efficiency.

Coordinate internal and external communications, including managing emails, phone calls and correspondence

Organize and schedule management meetings, hotels for staff

Year End preparation including T4's, T5's and T5018's. Maintain a good working relationship with accountant.

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an office manager, bookkeeper, or in a similar administrative role, preferably in concrete/construction or a related industry.

Proficiency in accounting software Sage , Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), and other relevant tools.

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and CRA regulations, including payroll and GST filings.

Excellent organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail.

Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor when dealing with customers, suppliers, and team members.

Strong ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment as well as work independently or as part of a team.

Proven office experience (5+ years) in office management role/bookkeeper.Administrative support to team as required.

Support HR with recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations in coordination with the HR department. Support with marketing tasks such as advertisements for employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour
