Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Architecture & Engineering

  • Design, deploy, and manage security solutions including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and vulnerability management tools.
  • Implement secure network architecture and enforce best practices across cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Automate security processes and integrate security into CI/CD pipelines.

Threat Detection & Incident Response

  • Monitor security alerts, analyze threats, and respond to security incidents.
  • Lead root-cause analysis and implement long-term preventive measures.
  • Conduct threat hunting to proactively identify anomalies and vulnerabilities.

Vulnerability Management

  • Perform regular vulnerability scanning and penetration testing.
  • Prioritize and coordinate remediation efforts with development and infrastructure teams.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, SOC 2, etc.).

Governance, Risk & Compliance

  • Support risk assessments and audits.
  • Develop and maintain security documentation, including policies, SOPs, and incident reports.
  • Train internal teams on security best practices.

Cloud & DevSecOps

  • Secure cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) including IAM, logging, monitoring, and network segmentation.
  • Embed security controls in DevOps workflows and perform container security assessments.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5–7+ years of hands-on cyber security experience.
  • Strong proficiency with:
  • Firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
  • Endpoint security and EDR solutions.
  • Vulnerability scanners (Nessus, Qualys, OpenVAS).
  • Cloud security controls (AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender, etc.).
  • Solid understanding of networking, operating systems, and security protocols.
  • Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $89,855.92-$159,527.33 per year
