We can offer straight day shift hours with a ½ day Fridays. We have high-end equipment and we make a very high-end product. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prep trailers for paint shop
  • Blast trailers and trailer parts as required
  • Support the smooth running of the paint shop
  • Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
  • Adhere to H&S rules

Qualifications/Skills Required:

  • High School education required - post secondary preferred
  • Commercial Body Shop experience required
  • Previous experience painting and prepping
  • Must be mechanically inclined
  • Attention to detail and quality
  • Willing to work overtime as required
  • Possess a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to work independently in a busy environment.
  • Able to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing.
  • Able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Able to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically, and professionally at all times.

Work Conditions

  • Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
  • Safety equipment will be required, e.g. steel-toed safety boots, safety glasses/goggles, etc.
  • Must be able to stay focused on the task at hand
  • Overtime as required
  • Hazards associated with the trade

Day Shift hours are 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Monday to Thursday and 6:00 am to 12 noon on Friday

The starting wage for this position is dependent on experience and training. Upon successful completion of a 6-month probationary period the candidate will be eligible to take part in our benefits package, including health, dental, life insurance, Group RRSP and safety boot and clothing allowance.
