We are looking for a Quality Assurance Technician to join our Quality Assurance Team based in the Kingsway and Chester offices in Vancouver, BC. This individual will report to the QA Manager. 

Job Overview: Our Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for activities associated with the development, implementation, monitoring, maintenance, and improvement of the company's quality system. This includes monitoring conformance to specifications and standards through testing and internal audits, data analysis, record maintenance, reporting on trends and performance indicators such as customer and store complaints, as well as conducting refresher training for employees. The rotating monthly 8 hours shifts from between 6 AM until 12 AM at both 2777 Kingsway and 8330 Chester St locations.

You will have an opportunity to:

•    Implement and enforce SQF policies and procedures 

•    Conduct inspection, testing, and monitoring for food safety and quality 

•    Assist in training employees on GMP and other quality and food safety practices 

•    Manage non-conformance process and implement corrective actions 

•    Support internal and third-party audits 

•    Perform product testing, sensory evaluation, and maintains documentation 

You will be a good fit if you have: 

•    Have availability to work between 6am-12am at both 2777 Kingsway and 8330 Chester St locations.

•    Bachelor's degree in food science 

•    Up to two years of working experience in a similar position

•    Problem-solving and root-cause analysis abilities
