Our company seeks a dynamic, results-driven Tech Sales Representative for a flexible, part-time role promoting our innovative canvassing software and on-demand plumber app. The role emphasizes developing strategic relationships, driving B2B sales growth, and expanding market presence via prospecting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead business development in New Brunswick municipal elections (May 11, 2026), targeting 50–100 ridings post-nominations (March 23, 2026) to secure multiple canvassing software subscriptions through prospecting, demos, and negotiations.
- Execute B2B sales for Calgary plumbers (50–100 SEO/PPC leads, 10–15% close rate) and landlords/property managers (200+ outreach), closing deals for app sign-ups and recurring service revenue.
- Manage inside sales operations using CRM tools to track pipelines, interactions, and conversion rates while providing tailored demos on process improvements, revenue streams, and customer service benefits.
- Negotiate favorable terms for multi-seat campaigns or multi-property deals, building long-term partnerships with renewals into 2028 cycles.
- Collaborate with teams on sales proposals, objection handling, and onboarding, while staying current on election trends, local markets, and competitive tools.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven B2B sales, negotiation, or inside sales experience, ideally in tech, politics, or service sectors, with strong prospecting and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service orientation to understand client needs, deliver solutions, and adapt to market conditions like elections or competitive trades.
- Self-motivated with business development acumen for independent work, lead generation, and multi-priority handling; telemarketing or canvassing experience is an asset.
Compensation and Schedule
- Part-time, fully flexible (remote/in-field) to fit professional commitments.
- Uncapped commissions on sales (campaigns, plumbers, landlords), scaled for volume/recurring revenue, tied to key milestones like election subscriptions and 10–15% plumber closes
