Overview

We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Mover to join our team. This role involves removing oldfurniture from hotel rooms into storage and moving new furniture from storage to the rooms. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with heavy lifting, operating equipment like dollies, moving carts, and pallet trucks, and maintaining a professional attitude throughout the moving process.

Responsibilities

  • Safely move items using appropriate moving techniques and equipment
  • Operate dollies and carts safely and efficiently
  • Ensure all items are securely packed and properly handled to prevent damage
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate moving
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas before, during, and after
  • Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries during heavy lifting or equipment operation

Qualifications

  • Punctuality and reliability are a top priority
  • Prior experience in moving is preferred but not required
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with team members
  • Good physical stamina
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to safety are essential for success in this role

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
