SUMMARY

The Furniture Mover, as a part of the Workplace Solutions (On Demand/Client Services) team, is responsible for supporting t facility moves projects. What drives the success in this role, is your understanding of furniture systems, interiors, materials, and finishes.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages and communicates with clients with a focus on professionalism, urgency and transparency
- Delivers on non-technical projects (i.e. furniture installation, furniture reconfiguration, office space.)
- Supports preparation of move packages and furniture tagging
- Develops and maintains effective relationships with clients.
- Ensures assigned projects are delivered on-time, within scope, budget and requirements, and complies with all regulatory, environmental, health and safety requirements.
- Incorporates sustainable practices, where practical, into MAC delivery, in accordance with BGIS processes.Other duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
- College Diploma or equivalent training
- Working knowledge of various furniture systems, interiors, materials, and finishes as well as knowledge of project management, move management,
- Self-starter with strong organizational skills as well as ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal skills. Ability to influence others to ensure timely and quality completion of projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including report writing skills and client communication
- Ability to work overtime, nights and weekends, as requiredAbility to lift furniture.
