Job Description

We are looking for a Volunteer Research & Writing Assistant, to support our team with grant-related research and writing activities. This is a volunteer opportunity focused on skill development, exposure to nonprofit fundraising processes, and supervised support, not a paid employment role.

Key Learning & Support Activities

  • Assist with researching public, foundation, and corporate grant opportunities under guidance
  • Support the organization of grant calendars, deadlines, and reference materials
  • Help maintain internal tracking documents and databases for learning purposes
  • Observe and support relationship-building activities with funders
  • Assist with general administrative tasks related to grant projects

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational habits
  • Interest in nonprofit work, fundraising, or grant research
  • Ability to handle information responsibly and maintain confidentiality
  • Previous exposure to nonprofit or fundraising environments is an asset, but not required

Working hours: 15-20 hours per week (3 months)

Flexible schedule coordinated with the team
