Kitchen Cabinet Measuring Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Cabinet Measuring Technician to join our team. This role is essential for ensuring accurate measurements and specifications for kitchen cabinet installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction and carpentry, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. You will work closely with our design and installation teams to ensure that all projects meet our high standards of quality and precision.
Duties
- Measure and assess kitchen spaces for cabinet installations, ensuring accuracy in all dimensions.
- Collaborate with designers to understand project requirements and specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively during measurements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide installation processes.
- Provide feedback on potential design issues based on site conditions.
- Assist in the preparation of project estimates related to cabinetry and installation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding project progress and any challenges encountered.
Qualifications
- Previous experience measuring kitchens
- Experience in cabinet installation a bonus
- Experience in design layouts a bonus
- Ability to read blueprint
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
