We are seeking a skilled Reach Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating various types of forklifts and ensuring the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate high-reach forklifts and order pickers to transport materials within the warehouse.
  • Load and unload goods from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling and storage.
  • Perform order picking tasks accurately and efficiently using a warehouse management system.
  • Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
  • Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock organization.
  • Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and meet production goals.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery.

Skills

  • Proven experience in warehouse distribution and forklift operation is essential.
  • Familiarity with Raymond reach/high-reach forklifts and other material handling equipment.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues as they arise.
  • Basic math skills for accurate inventory management and order processing.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
