Material Mover

The role of Material Mover is responsible for performing movement of material and finished goods within Shipping, Receiving, and Warehousing areas of Litens facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform shipping, receiving and warehousing duties including:
• Unload / load materials from container / truck
• Perform materials / finished goods condition inspection
• Complete documentation as required
• Store, locate and move good in warehouse
• Move and store materials / finished goods according to FIFO

• Carry out inventory management and counting of stock

• Operate lift truck according to Lift Truck Operation procedure

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

The Successful Candidate will have:

• Minimum High School Diploma
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehousing / shipping / receiving environment preferably in an automotive manufacturing facility
• Competent with RF equipment and transactions

• Knowledge of FIFO inventory management process

• Must maintain valid Lift Truck license

• Able to fulfill physical requirements as required

• Repetitive lifting of components between one to five pounds and boxes up to 30 pounds

• May be required to work different shifts

• Must have good communication and organizational skills
• Basic computer knowledge

• fork lift driver: 1 year (preferred)
