CNC Operator

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Set up, program software, and operate CNC machines to produce custom wood components according to detailed drawings and specifications
  • Collaborate with our CAD and custom bench teams to ensure accuracy and consistency across projects
  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings (experience with woodworking plans preferred)
  • Perform machine maintenance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime
  • Ensure all parts meet quality standards before moving them into assembly
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all safety protocols
  • Participate in continuous improvement and production efficiency discussions

Abilities and skills required:

  • 2+ years of CNC programming and operating experience, ideally in a woodworking or custom millwork setting
  • Alphacam experience
  • Experience with woodworking machinery and tooling is a strong asset
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on craftsmanship
  • Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings and technical plans
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and willing to learn new tools and processes
  • Familiarity with cabinet or furniture manufacturing is an advantage
  • Team-oriented attitude with a desire to be part of a highly skilled, collaborative team
