**JobSummary**:
Operates CNC Mill including drills, manual mills, and responsible for all metal cutting activities. Performs machine set-up and programming for daily production.

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Read engineering drawings, sketches and work specifications to be performed, and lay out, measure and mark sheet metal according to drawings or templates
- Program new jobs on CNC Mill.
- Set-up and operate CNC Mill.
- Rig, hoist and move materials to storage areas or within worksite
- Set up and operate light metalworking machines such as shears, brakes, punches, and drill presses, including computer numerical control (CNC) equipment to cut, bend, punch, drill, shape or straighten sheet metal
- Install and use rigging and hoisting equipment
- Deburr and prep parts after metal cutting operations.
- Inspect product quality and installation to ensure conformance to specifications
- Capable of using measuring instruments such as tape measures, gauges and calipers
- Capable of sustained physical effort while working with light to medium weight components
- Maintain clean work areas, tools, and equipment
- Assist in training new machine operators
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

**Qualifications**
- Ability to interpret and understand Engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
- Mechanically inclined
- Knowledge of operating related machinery (ex. CNC)
- Knowledge of tools and their proper use
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under mínimal supervision
- Verbal and written communication skills
- Capable of sustained physical effort

**Working Conditions**:

- 40 hour work week (Monday to Friday, eight (8) hours per day)
- Fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Physically demanding
- Frequent standing, bending, walking, and stretching
- Lifting of light and heavy materials
- Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required
