Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
CNC Machine Operation:

- Operate CNC machinery to cut, shape, and finish stone materials (quartz, granite, porcelain, marble, etc.)
- Program and set up CNC machines based on design drawings and templates.
- Load and unload stone slabs onto the CNC machine using cranes and lifting equipment.
- Monitor machine operations, ensuring quality and precision throughout the cutting process.

Stone Fabrication:

- Preform manual and machine-assisted fabrication of stone products, including cutting, grinding, polishing, and finishing.
- Read and interpret design specification, blueprints, and project plans to produce precise stone products.
- Hand-finish stone surfaces where necessary, ensuring edges are smooth and seams are flush.
- Measure and mark stone surfaces for precise cutting and shaping.

Quality Control:

- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet company standards and customer specifications.
- Address any discrepancies or issues during the fabrication process to ensure a high-quality finish.
- Perform final polishing and sealing of stone surfaces before they are ready for installation.

Maintenance and Safety:

- Maintain and clean CNC machines, hand tools, and fabrication equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and troubleshooting to prevent machine malfunctions.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and operating equipment safely.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations in the shop.

Collaboration:

- Work closely with other team members, including sales, designers, project managers, and installation teams, to ensure accurate project execution.
- Communicate with supervisors regarding project progress, machine maintenance, and any issues encountered during fabrication.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
