Location: Edmonton, AB
 
Position Summary:
 
The Electrician is a member of the field team and works on a variety of projects within the Residential HVAC sector.
 
Responsibilities:

Connect, test and maintain electrical systems.
Install, alter, repair and maintain various electrical systems and related equipment.
Read and interpret electrical code specifications.
Inspect electrical systems and equipment to identify hazards, defects, and ensure compliance with codes.
Work closely with lead electrician as required.

Qualifications:

Must be a registered apprentice with the appropriate provincial authority.
2nd year or higher apprenticeship is required.
Residential experience would be an asset.
Prior experience as an electrician apprentice required.  
Comfortable working outdoors.
Proven mechanical aptitude and experience.
Able to operate all necessary tools and equipment to perform the job.
Commitment to customer service.
Must be able to read and interpret drawings and blueprints.
The ability to work occasional overtime and weekends as required.
The successful incumbent must be able to meet the minimum requirements for our background check criteria.
