Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various industrial, commercial and construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical work, including blueprint reading and schematics interpretation, with experience in industrial electrical systems. This role offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision and technical expertise to ensure safety and compliance with industry standards.

Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical wiring, panels, and systems in accordance with blueprints and schematics
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and electrical diagrams to execute installation and maintenance tasks
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and effectively to complete electrical projects
  • Perform inspections of low voltage and high voltage systems to identify issues and implement solutions
  • Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical components are integrated seamlessly into building frameworks
  • Maintain detailed records of work performed for compliance and future reference
  • Adhere to all safety protocols related to electrical work, including lockout/tagout procedures

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an electrician, preferably with industrial, commercial electrician background
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, and electrical diagrams
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment used in electrical installations
  • Experience working with low voltage systems and industrial electrical components
  • Ability to interpret technical schematics accurately and efficiently
  • Electrical license or certification is preferred but not mandatory depending on project requirements
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various construction environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00-$46.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
