Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team.

This position would be for an established stylist with clientele.

We are closed Sunday & Monday so we all get 2 days off in a row. Work/life balance is very important.

We operate in a casual atmosphere. This is not a corporate salon .

Our salon team strives to keep up with the latest techniques and products to achieve the best results possible for our clients.

We also have an amazing full time esthetician as well to service your clients.

Commission or chair rental.

The salon has been established in a generous community since 2006.

Lots of parking available for you and your clients.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of hair

styling services including cuts, coloring, and treatments to meet client needs.

  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness by sanitizing tools and workstations after each use.
  • Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to client requests and offering professional advice.
  • Engage in retail sales by recommending products that complement the services provided and enhance client satisfaction.
  • Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments and handling client inquiries.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth salon operations and a cohesive work environment.

Experience

  • Commission based salary.
  • Red Seal Hair Stylist. Minimum 3 year experience with existing client base.
  • Must have a Manitoba License
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
  • Familiarity with retail sales techniques and upselling strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of current hair styling trends and techniques is highly desirable.

  • Minor computer skills for salon software.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
