The Opportunity:

ML6 has partnered with a leading consumer goods organization in their search for a Senior Financial Analyst. This role offers the chance to directly influence financial and operational outcomes by shaping the reporting, planning, and analysis that guide supply chain decisions. Acting as a trusted advisor to both finance and operations, you'll bring clarity to complex data, highlight cost drivers, and support leadership in achieving strategic goals.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Drive monthly analysis of logistics spend (freight, warehousing, inventory) to uncover risks and opportunities.
  • Build and refine reporting tools that deliver clear, actionable insights for supply chain leadership.
  • Lead the budgeting and forecasting cycle for supply chain functions, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Partner with IT and cross-functional teams to improve data systems and reporting accuracy.
  • Collaborate with FP&A and business finance partners to ensure transparency and consistency across the organization.
  • Provide financial guidance during planning cycles and operational reviews.
  • Deliver ad-hoc analysis that supports decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business required; CPA designation an asset.
  • 3–5 years of progressive finance experience, ideally in a supply chain or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP and Excel; exposure to Power BI or other reporting automation tools is an advantage.
  • Ability to manage and interpret large, complex data sets with precision.
  • Strong knowledge of planning processes such as budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate numbers into practical business insights.
  • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across multiple levels of the organization.
