Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Worker to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our manufacturing facilities. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills, with experience in facilities maintenance and leadership. The Maintenance Worker will be responsible for performing routine inspections, repairs, and preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance operational efficiency. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where safety, quality, and customer service are prioritized.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues using schematics and technical manuals
  • Operate and program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes
  • Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders, inventory, and maintenance history
  • Perform welding, electrical repairs, and other mechanical tasks as needed
  • Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and equipment manuals
  • Supervise or assist with maintenance projects, ensuring safety protocols are followed
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities and parts inventory
  • Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and improve equipment reliability
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and facility regulations

Experience

  • Proven experience in facilities maintenance or manufacturing environments
  • Supervising experience is preferred for leadership responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and schematics
  • Skilled in welding, electrical work, mechanical repairs, and troubleshooting complex systems
  • Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes, safety standards, and customer service principles
  • Excellent communication skills in English to effectively document work orders and collaborate with team members
  • Demonstrated ability to lead maintenance activities while maintaining a focus on safety and quality standards
