Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation, butchery, and customer service both in person and online. This role involves working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring that all food handling and safety standards are met while providing excellent service to our customers, plus, administrating our online store including online marketing.

Duties

  • Prepare and cut various types of meat according to specifications and customer requests.
  • Ensure all food handling practices comply with safety regulations and standards.
  • Manage and maintain our online store including its inventory, preparation and shipping. Package and label products for sale, maintaining high quality and presentation standards.
  • Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the retail and work areas.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and assisting customers with their selections for both in person and online.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient retail and wholesale operations and timely service delivery.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in the food industry is preferred, particularly in food preparation or butchery.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
  • Proficiency in meat cutting techniques and equipment operation.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Prior online marketing experience is a plus, demonstrating managing Shopify operations and online customer service. Join us in delivering quality products while ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for our customers

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
