Overview

We are seeking friendly, organized, and customer-focused Front of House Staff to join our team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role involves providing excellent service, managing customer interactions, and ensuring smooth operations at the front of the restaurant. Ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and experience with food service operations. Previous experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is a plus, along with a solid understanding of food safety and handling procedures. This position offers an engaging work environment where teamwork and professionalism are valued.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
  • Take customer orders accurately using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
  • Process payments efficiently, handling cash and credit transactions with precision
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely manner, ensuring quality standards are maintained
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area, including tables and service stations
  • Provide knowledgeable answers to customer inquiries about menu items and specials
  • Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
  • Manage multiple tables effectively through excellent time management skills
  • Support team members during busy periods to ensure smooth service flow

Requirements

  • Previous experience in restaurant or food service industry preferred, especially in serving or cashiering roles
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly desirable
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
  • Excellent time management abilities to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours
  • Ability to work well within a team environment while maintaining a positive attitude
  • Flexibility to work various shifts as needed, including evenings and weekends if required
  • A personable attitude with strong communication skills to engage effectively with guests and team members

Gratuities are shared evenly between foh and boh. Average total hourly pay is roughly $25/hour.
