The FOH Team Lead is in charge of assisting with the overall operations of the front of house to ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service. The FOH Team Lead is vital in securing processes and procedures to instill efficiency in the front of house and maintaining high team morale with staff development and growth in mind. A FOH Team Lead is expected to be a role model with the ability to complete hands-on tasks to ensure a smooth service and resolve guest escalations. The ideal traits for this position would be a resourceful, process-oriented problem solver, who can communicate clearly while working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail and organizational skills.

1+ years of experience in a high volume kitchen or restaurant1+ years of experience with employee managementOpen and flexible availability, including evenings and weekendsAble to complete physically demanding tasks – standing for long periods, lifting 50 lbs, bending and reaching, etc.Quick learner when it comes to technology, software, and kitchen operationsExcellent communication skills, organizational skills, and problem-solving skillsSummary of Responsibilities
 
Ensures all dishes that are served are to spec and packaged according to packaging guidelinesCommunicates with GM and AGM about concerns regarding stock levels, workflow, equipment and employee issuesAssists the AGM with bar and FOH inventory by accurately counting stock, recording waste, entering inventory data, and reconciling invoicesAdheres to company standards in regards to portion sizes, packaging methods, quality standards, kitchen rules, policies and proceduresChampions product knowledge to be able to make recommendations and educate guests on the menu, retail usage and Fresh mobile appMaintains an inspection ready restaurant including retail, eat-in and storage areas at all timesActs as a role model for employees by upholding all standards, policies and operating systemsHolds FOH staff accountable to all procedures and standards set out by FreshCompletes tasks assigned by the GM and AGM while remaining accountable for the overall shiftAttends manager meetings as required and is prepared to participate by actively listening and encourages and includes the opinions of others
