Duties:
- Plans, supervises and assists in the installations of electrical wiring, conduit and systems as per project drawings, specifications and in accordance with Canadian electrical codes.
- Complete electrical installations as required.
- Organize materials, tools and equipment for jobs.
- Inspect jobs upon completion.
- Communicate with clients and internal team members
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines and Canadian Occupational Health and Safety Regulations.
- Recommend processes to improve productivity.
- Identify potential cost saving solutions
- Trains and mentors electrical apprentices as required
- Full Time Employment 40 hrs/week
Qualifications
We're in search of a dynamic team leader with extensive experience handling electrical projects in active environments. The perfect candidate will have outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to thrive in high-pressure situations, consistently ensuring top-notch quality in their work.
- Red Seal Certification
- 6+ years electrical experience
- Foreman/leadership experience (asset)
- Valid Class 5 BC drivers license
- Safety, Fall Protection, Lift certifications (asset)
- Proficient with apps and computer programs
- Strong understanding of electrical drawings/circuit designs
- Experience with fire alarm systems is a huge asset
- Proficient with email and verbal communication
- Must be authorized to work in Canada
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45.00-$55.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
