**Position Overview**:As an Electrical Foreman/Woman at Westrade Electric, you will be an integral part of our commercial electrical projects team. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in commercial and light industrial buildings, ensuring that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest industry standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a company with a long-standing reputation for excellence.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and technical drawings.
- Install and maintain lighting, power, and control systems.
- Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Collaborate effectively with project managers, fellow electricians, and other team members.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times.
- Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on each project.
- Mentor and assist apprentices to help them develop their skills.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in electrical technology.

**Qualifications**:

- Journeyman Electrician certification or Red Seal certification.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a commercial electrician.
- Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and regulations.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and diagrams.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Commitment to workplace safety and safe work practices.
- Willingness to work flexible hours when required.
- Physical ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.

**Salary**: $40.00-$46.00 per hour
