Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Site Superintendent to oversee a contracted ICI construction project from inception to completion. The project will run from February - May. The ideal candidate will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of construction processes, and safety protocols. The Site Superintendent will coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to facilitate smooth operations on-site and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project schedules and specifications
  • Manage and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and safety compliance
  • Review blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to ensure accurate execution of plans
  • Monitor quality control procedures to meet industry standards and client expectations
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential issues related to safety, quality, or schedule delays
  • Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment necessary for ongoing projects
  • Maintain detailed documentation of project progress, issues, and changes for reporting purposes
  • Enforce safety protocols in compliance with regulations and company policies

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Site Superintendent or in a similar supervisory role within the construction industry
  • Demonstrated ability in supervising teams, managing multiple subcontractors, and coordinating complex projects
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating documents
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in quality control and safety procedures
  • Strong communication skills for liaising with clients, team members, vendors, and regulatory agencies
  • Experience with construction management practices including scheduling, and project documentation

This project will run from Early February to May. Opportunities to run other projects in thr future will be available.

Job Type: Fixed term contract

Contract length: 4 months

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour
