We are a growing CPA firm in the North York area and are looking for a self-motivated, experienced accounting professional to join our team. We are an approved training office with CPA Ontario, and the position would be ideal for a CPA student seeking practical experience in public accounting in a friendly work environment.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to


• Prepare and review Financial Statements


• Assist in Review and Audit engagements


• Prepare personal tax returns (T1) and corporate tax returns (T2)


• Prepare T4, T5 slips, GST/HST, WSIB and EHT return


• Correspond with Canada Revenue Agency, Ministry of Revenue & Workplace Safety Insurance Board on behalf of clients


•  Assist directors with ad hoc projects

Qualifications

·
University Degree in Accounting

·
+ years of progressive Assurance and tax experience in public practice.

·
Strong technical knowledge of Canadian GAAP (ASPE, IFRS) and Canadian Auditing Standards (CAS).

·
Excellent leadership, organizational, and project management skills.

·
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a client-service orientation.

·
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

·
Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare) and Microsoft Office Suite.

Salary range will be based on experience. ($65,000~$72,000 plus tax season bonus)
