Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Framer to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and construction, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. This role involves working on various projects, including residential and multifamily sites. The Framer will be responsible for ensuring that all structures are built to specifications while adhering to safety standards.

Duties

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and project plans to construct frameworks for buildings.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling
  • Operate heavy equipment safely when necessary to assist in construction tasks.
  • Conduct heavy lifting and maneuvering of materials as part of the building process.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all tools and equipment are stored properly after use.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in carpentry or related construction fields is essential.
  • Experience with woodworking, siding installation, and restoration projects is a plus.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and standing for extended periods is necessary.
