Duties

- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

- Follow blueprints and building plans to meet the needs of clients

- Install structures and fixtures such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim

- Inspect and replace damaged framework or other structures and fixtures

Experience

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a framer or carpenter

- Proficient in heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment

- Experience with concrete forming and drywall installation

- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools for framing work

- Ability to weld and restore damaged structures is a plus

We are seeking a skilled Framer to join our team. As a Framer, you will be responsible for constructing, erecting, installing, and repairing various structures. You will work with a variety of materials such as wood, plywood, wallboard, lightweight steel, and more.

To excel in this role, you should have experience in framing work and be familiar with power tools and hand tools commonly used in carpentry. Attention to detail and the ability to follow blueprints are essential.

Responsibilities:

- Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials according to blueprints

- Install structures such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, etc.

- Inspect existing structures for damage or wear and perform necessary repairs or replacements

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time

- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Experience:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a framer or carpenter

- Proficient in heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment

- Experience with concrete forming and drywall installation

- Knowledge of power tools and hand tools for framing work
